We have been raising cattle on this farm for 12 years and started our Registered Red Angus herd in 2020. We have spent the last six years acquiring and maintaining Red Angus genetics that allows us to produce consistent quality beef for our customers. To do this we have focused on acquiring and maintaining cows that produce calves with consistent growth and carcass development in a low-input system. Our cattle must work for us in our fields. We have built our herd based on field performance and EPD's. All reported weaning weights to Red Angus are not influenced by feed. At weaning, we decide which females we will keep and which we sell.
We like cows that have medium to large body frames and hold condition year-round with a calf at their side. We calve half the herd April-June and the other half September-November.
HERD SIRES:
BROWN JRAR DEEP END H6631

BROWN SLB QUARTERBACK K6627

We have been sourcing genetics across the United States that pair the Red Angus Assocation’s GridMaster Index. Carcass quality is vital to our farm. Our mission is to produce excellent beef and build efficiencies in the grazing process sustainably by way of selective breeding. We have made excellent strides on our farm reducing finishing time on our steers while improving carcass traits.
We keep all our steers for direct market beef and now offer select females for sale.
