pasture-raised nongmo chicken & duck eggs

Our chickens and ducks rotate the farm in the safety of electric netting and mobile coops. This allows us to concentrate and spread their manure across our farm in a system that benefits our soil and keeps our birds healthy. 

We are currently keeping a flock of Lohmann Brown Chickens. They are a hardy breed known for they laying abilities. These hens lay large brown eggs.

Our duck flock is made up of Khaki Campbell and Indian Runner ducks. Runners have an interesting history that can be found on the Livestock Conservancy's website. Runners look like wine bottles on legs! They are upright ducks with a long neck and a long body. They waddle around the farm, always in a flock, eating as many insects, spiders and slugs as they can find.
