Join us on a farm tour to learn about our grass-based livestock operation! We will show and tell about our farming practices, grazing systems, forage production, and more! We are offering private tours and a few public group tours.
Whether you are a chef, foodie or local parent preparing a meal for the family, it's beneficial to experience a farm and learn where and how food is produced.
These tours are offered Monday-Friday for individuals or groups who want to learn more about farming. They can be customized to your interests and are for 1-20 people. These tours can be focused on one or all of our enterprises and are great for agricultural groups, schools, local organizations or those visiting Loudoun County. We do not pet any livestock during these tours. Photos are allowed!
Sunday morning family tours are a 45 minutes walking tour of the farm intended for families with younger children. A picnic will be offered after the farm tour. Tours will start at 10 am and a picnic will be provided from 11-12 pm. Attendance at these events will be limited to what COVID regulations allow.
Tickets will begin to sell in May 2021.
These tours are designed for groups seeking a unique farm-to-fork experience! These farming culinary tours will provide the opportunity to learn about our farm and how is food produced, harvested, and prepared for your plate. Following a tour is a catered field-to-plate meal served in our historic barn using our meats and other locally sourced provisions. You can make it simple or get fancy! These tours are completely customized to your needs. They are unique for birthdays, family reunions and more. These tours can be walking or on a wagon. A phone consultation is our starting place. Options will be provided, but we welcome special requests.
Our popular farm dinners are finally back! These are adult-only events. We invite you to join us for a special and relaxing evening on the farm. We welcome you with wine, music, and small bites fireside. We will then depart on a 45-minute wagon tour of our farm where we share our story, talk about our farm and farming practices and showcase all the benefits of grass-based livestock production! We then deliver you to our historic family barn where bluegrass is playing and a multi-course meal will be served by a local chef using meat from our farm and produce and cheese from other local farms. Wine will be offered for sale during our dinners. These are romantic dinners for two or great for a fun evening out with friends. We accept reservations for groups of 2 to 8 people.
